The Project Profession Community

Nice to be recognised on the APM website for the work I did as "the first GBA network Chairman", and the event around Prof. Adam Boddison OBE's November visit reminded me of the positive aspects of such APM events. The APM in Hong Kong used to have a thriving events programme, with monthly presentations from industry experts and the fabulous annual Christmas Dinner, all organised by the irrepressible Adrian King and the team of volunteers and committee members.
If we are to build / rebuild a community of project professionals in the GBA region, via the APM GBA Network, I believe that we should get back to holding these regular gatherings to help promote the project profession here. If the HKIPM can hold such a well-attended annual dinner for their members, why shouldn't the APM?
Project professionals in the GBA region want and need the support of the APM's GBA Network in order to grow and flourish, and the APM GBA Network needs the support of the APM as a whole to provide the backing, help to organise more events and build the community we project professionals need. Let's get this started early in 2025!
