Project Director 2016 – 2022

Mark was Project Director responsible for delivery of the full upgrade of this Hong Kong tourism icon.

Managing multiple delivery streams in Hong Kong and Europe, to provide a much-needed capacity upgrade of the funicular railway, tramcars, haulage equipment, control systems and stations. Mark managed multiple stakeholders across government, geographic and functional sectors including District Councils and LegCo, and he lead the multidisciplinary design teams to coordinate and integrate these unique building works with legacy land issues, state-of-the-art funicular systems and a bespoke design for the new Peak Tram, all of which required extensive government consultation and approvals. Adding to the complexity were the covid-related supply-chain issues throughout manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning.
